Promote Pulaski Announces Pause of Casimir Pulaski Days for 2027

Pulaski, WI — After thoughtful discussion and careful evaluation, Promote Pulaski has made the difficult decision to pause Casimir Pulaski Days for 2027. While this long-standing community tradition will not take place next year, the organization is leaving the door open for its return in the future.

This decision follows a comprehensive review of the 2026 event, including financial outcomes, volunteer capacity, sponsorship levels, and overall community participation. Key challenges included reduced funding support, limited business participation, increasing operational demands, and volunteer burnout.

“This was not an easy decision,” said representatives from Promote Pulaski. “Casimir Pulaski Days has been a meaningful part of our community for generations. However, in order to continue producing an event of this scale, it requires strong and consistent support across many levels—from businesses, sponsors, volunteers, and the broader community.”

Promote Pulaski extends its sincere gratitude to the many businesses, organizations, volunteers, and community members who have supported the event over the years. Their contributions have helped sustain a tradition that celebrates Pulaski’s rich Polish heritage and brings people together year after year.

Looking Ahead: A Call for Collaboration

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, Promote Pulaski remains committed to its mission of building business, tourism, and community in Pulaski and the surrounding areas through its Polish heritage and agricultural roots.

With the pause of the 2027 event, the organization will take time to refocus its efforts, strengthen its foundation, and explore new opportunities that align with long-term sustainability—including initiatives such as the Barnyard Estates project and other community-driven efforts.

Promote Pulaski is actively seeking:

  • Businesses willing to take an active role in future events and initiatives

  • Community partners and organizations interested in collaboration

  • Volunteers and leaders ready to help shape the future of Pulaski

  • New ideas and creative approaches to keep Pulaski vibrant and visible

“There has to be a shared investment,” the group noted. “For events like this to succeed, businesses and organizations need to have a stake in the outcome. When that happens, momentum builds—and sustainability becomes possible.”

A Time to Reflect and Rebuild

This pause also creates an opportunity for the community to reflect on the value of events like Casimir Pulaski Days and what it takes to bring them to life.

Promote Pulaski acknowledges the realities many volunteers face, balancing full-time careers, families, and community involvement. Moving forward, the goal is to develop stronger systems, shared leadership, and sustainable processes that support both people and progress.
